I was surprised when I heard Jay say that the deckard is a replicant thing was shoe in because at my first viewing of the movie I thought he was one. and to me it makes sense because that explains why he is so lonely and depressed, he was created exclusively to kill his own kind. that is his purpose and also that was for me what it meant to be a blade runner in my head canon watching the movie all of the blade runners were replicants made to kill replicants, to me this was Deckard's inner conflict, someone who is the best at killing his own kind, lying to himself that he is different from them because he is a blade runner but at the same time knowing that they are just like him. that's why for me the love story between him and Rachel makes sense. they are the last replicants that remain and in Deckard's logic they deserve each other.

This was my interpretation watching the version without the narrations so any information display there a wasn’t aware of and to me the narrations are not really canon cause to me the beauty of the movie is interpreting yourself the movie not really hearing someone explain everything to you

This movie has amazing acting. The atmosphere was great and creepy. Unfortunately, the story is nonsensical and as a result the movie has no punch. No moment where the audience goes "Ooooh". The cult feels shoehorned in, the actual supernatural demon feels shoehorned in. The end of the movie tries to convince us that the tragic events that culminated in Charlie's death were somehow orchestrated, despite the fact that they weren't. It's a shame how this movie plays as a 10 then just dwindles down and ends on a 6.
